Marine Fleet Management Training Course

A vessel that breaks down mid-voyage rarely fails without warning — the signs are usually sitting in maintenance logs and performance data weeks or months before the failure actually happens, unnoticed because nobody was managing the fleet as a whole system. Fleet Management exists to close that gap: keeping every vessel across a fleet performing reliably, safely, and cost-effectively, rather than reacting to problems one ship at a time. The Marine Fleet Management Training Course, is built for professionals responsible for vessel management across multiple ships, where small inefficiencies multiply quickly at fleet scale.

This course treats fleet management as a discipline built on planning and data, not reactive firefighting. Participants explore how vessel management decisions affect performance across an entire fleet, how maintenance planning prevents costly breakdowns rather than simply responding to them, and how operational efficiency is genuinely measured and improved across different vessel types and trades. The course also covers fleet performance benchmarking in practical terms — comparing vessels fairly, identifying underperformers early, and using that insight to guide investment and deployment decisions. Participants leave with a practical, systems-level understanding of marine fleet management they can apply directly to maintenance planning, performance monitoring, and operational decisions across their own fleet.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
