Energy has been one of humanity’s most critical challenges throughout history. Wars have been waged over it, many wars' outcomes have been changed because of it, and numerous treaties and alliances have been formed as a result. The modern era has witnessed four major energy crises. Despite the current dominance of oil as an energy source, early humans recognized and utilized renewable energy, such as sunlight and wind. These resources have been applied in various ways and evolved through the ages, alongside the development of human lifestyles and the growing need for energy sources. Humans have long used wood as a primary energy source and relied on their physical strength for agricultural tasks, using animals to assist. Solar energy was used for drying food, and wind energy was harnessed to propel ships and power windmills for grain grinding. With the advancement and diversification of energy sources, it has become essential to have mechanisms in place to protect these resources from any factors that could halt production or cause significant damage. This is achieved by employing the latest methods used to secure energy sources.
