Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Training Course

Most supplier relationships are managed the same way regardless of how much value they actually create, treated as transactions to be negotiated rather than relationships to be developed, which leaves genuine strategic value sitting unused with the suppliers who matter most. Supplier Relationship Management exists to correct that, applying deliberate structure and investment to the relationships that carry the greatest risk and opportunity rather than spreading effort evenly across every vendor. The Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Training Course, is built for procurement and supply chain professionals ready to move beyond transactional purchasing into genuine supplier partnership.

This course treats SRM as a structured discipline built on measurement, collaboration, and differentiated investment, not a vague commitment to "better supplier relationships." Participants learn how to track supplier performance with metrics that actually predict reliability, how vendor collaboration creates value that arm's-length transactions never reach, and how procurement strategy should differ based on a supplier's strategic importance rather than treating every vendor identically. The course also covers how well-structured contracts support long-term collaboration rather than locking in rigid terms, and how disciplined supplier evaluation identifies which relationships deserve deeper investment and which need to be reconsidered. Participants leave with a practical framework for managing supplier relationships that create genuine, measurable business value.
