Files and Databases Physical Design

This course presents a training course on the physical design of files and databases in their modern pattern and according to the developed curricula and new technology of computer and networks systems.

There are several methods of organizing and installation of files records. The method of organization is selected in accordance with the updated purposes to be used for manipulation and through complying with standards pertaining to the file capacity, speed and activation. This can be performed using consecutive, sequential, direct or indexed organization for all types of files including tables, reports and supporting files so that these processes are performed with high-quality data listed in controlled and secured rules and definitions. Physical design is involved with how data are stored and related, as well as how they are accessed.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Target Category:

• Managers of systems at companies.
• Employees responsible for management of data and files of systems.
• Directors of Information Technologies (IT) departments in companies.
• Computer science institutes and faculties students.

How participants will benefit from the Course:

By the end of the Course, participants will recognize the following:

• How to control data safety.
• How to design physical tables.
